I.S.I. T [ich sehe ich tun]
Performance.

Ich sehe, ich tun is a performance inspired by Nikolaus Kriegeskorte’s neuroscience research on visual perception and the brain’s coding of animacy. His studies reveal that our neural responses differ when we see living beings versus inanimate objects—the brain lights up in distinct patterns, suggesting that perception itself is shaped by our expectation of life or agency. The work translates these insights into embodied action, exploring how seeing becomes a form of doing, and how the act of perception blurs the boundary between observer and observed.
